About Me

I recently graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo with a bachelor's degree in journalism and minor in statistics. With experience in data journalism, investigations and breaking news,  I am currently reporting for POLITICO's California bureau in Sacramento.

Born in New York, I grew up in California and have reported across the state's various regions and nationally. I had the pleasure of working as editor-in-chief of Cal Poly's student-run news organization, Mustang Media Group, which was awarded best college media company in the nation. I've received national recognition for my reporting on homelessness, policing and COVID-19, as well as staff awards for multimedia coverage of the Kristin Smart murder trial and the 2022 midterm elections.

Outside of journalism, I love reading, cooking, hiking, playing tennis and watching documentaries!

                                                              Happy reading!
